Default RE: BowTech, Not Backing Dealers

ORIGINAL: rem700man

thats good info,,,,,im not a bowtech shooter but i was lookin at em and that right there is enough for me,,,if a pro-shop techs time is worth nothing to that co. it says alot about the manufacturer,,,i believe a man should be paid for his knowledge!!!
You should never base a decision on 1 person's claim or post.

Last year a guy claimed that Bowtech wouldn't take care of him when he had a bow problem. When I had an issue with my bow Bowtech asked the shop to replace my bow with one off the shelf, send my bow back to them, and they'd replace the stock bow for him. There are 1000's of other stories just like mine about how good their service is.

If you want I'll contact theshop ownerI go through and ask him what goes on in his shop. He's done work for me for free that he could have charged for.

A buddy of mine just had his Matthews limbs replaced by a dealer for free. They did it while he waited in the shop and would do the same thing for the Bowtech's they sell. A lot of dealers realize that they make money off of the stuff that people buy when they come in as well as word of mouth and repeat customers. Selling over a $1000'sworth of equipment should be worth a hour or 2 of free service when an issue arises. if you want repeat customers you have to be willing to give knowledge for free and as a dealer you are backing a product by selling it.
