i know i think the tree last year was around 1 foot around to the middle

what is the best size tree for a 2 man ladder stand.
i took a smallsapling and pulled it around the tree i want to hang my stand on it went just under half way around the tree about 6 feet high.
and the sabling was 24inchs long. is 24 inchs half way around big enough.
The tree i had it on last year let the stand move side to side when i would move
Tim, we can't have that!!! The tree needs to be large enough to provide support on either side of the "teeth" of the stand.
