Well since you asked old wise one,let me enlighhten you as to why remingtons are # 1. Lets start with the fact that they have been making guns since 1816 --I would call that a few years.Then I would have to ask ,why do 90 percent of all top benchrest shooters use a 700 action,then I would have to ask ,why do most bean field rifle companies use the same action.Yeah ,your right Remmy's are worthless--matter of fact if you have any and you want to get rid of the trash,please send them ALL to me --I will pay for shipping.Lastly,I have been shooting them since I was 7 years old and at 48 (I will let you do the math-you just have so much compewter experience,I am sure you know how to use a calculator) I have NEVER and I do mean NEVER had to send one back or have one repaired.
Remingtons problem: is the same problem that Ford and other american companies are having--people buying FORIEGN trash -Toyota's...ie Benelli -also known in Texas as Jamnelli --people see a commercial like Tom Knapp puts out and then all the weekend,skybustin warrior's think if they just buy a Jamnelli -they will be able to shoot like they see on tv-then after spending 1500 on a chunk of plastic( with parts falling off of them ,according to their own forum) and then get pissed off that they just got rooked out of 1500.00 we found one that someone left leaning on a tree at at local lake-we now use it as a door jam at our deer lease....remington just sold out(most dont even know that) to a large investment firm--why ?? not becuz the gun' s are not quality -but becuz of the above scenario...know your facts b4 you try to make youself look like some kinda (GENE -yus)
