I'm not a bow hunter, but if you practice at longer ranges, have good equipment and canconsistently hit a pie plate target at those ranges then go ahead. A friend of mine went to Alaska caribou hunting a few years ago and killed a nice caribou at 83 yards, but he practiced long range shooting a long time before he went up there just in case.
