I didn't like the cable slide that came on my Guardian at all. It had a sticky chattering to it. Before I left the shop I changed it out to an aftermarket deal. Love it.

I think that is the same one I have on my Guardian, Is it the Parker Productions Radius Slide?
Mine works great.
