Default RE: Review on Swampmaster

Drat,

Heh. I have tried numerous times over the past four years via email & one phonecall just to get some product info from CSS, and even inquired into their co-op shooter program at times in the past.

I have never received a returned email or a catalog.

I keep hearing how busy they are, and how small they are, and they cannot possibly answer all their emails, etc from thier customers and co-op shooters, and have even seen Chuck Nease post a few times over on the Bowsite and Archerytalk for damage control over the years. All manner of excuses for completely ignoring people. This kind of lack of service was very similar with his Chuck' s first company, Mountaineer Archery. IMO, If you have an email contact on your website, then you best be prepared to use it.

I' ve handled some of the early models (system), and though put together well, I was not that impressed otherwise. Since they don' t seem to want any new business, I' ve not been able to procure a newer model for evaluation. And honestly at this point I' m not sure I really care if I do. There are so many manufacturers making really good products these days, I' m not sure why I would want to jump through hoops just to get a bow from CSS. If I happen across one in a shop somewhere (unlikely, no dealers within several hours of me) perhaps I' d pick one up if it impressed me sufficiently.
