did the ablot have a boss system? if so thats y the recoil wasnt too much...a normal gun it could be too much....i myself would take a abolt over a 700 neday...the bullets...i wont say a word about corelokts cept a few bad expirences led me to not buying another box for hunting...and for a 400 yds shot id say a premium bullet should be used..and a boattail..like a nosler ballistic tip boat tail...but if you dont want to spend the money on them..dont buy em..shot what shoots up to your standards.....and welcome to the board!
