Actually I sight my rifles in for the distance I will most likely shoot at when hunting. For me that is 35 - 75 yards. And even 75 yardsis a far shot. The traditionals I normally sight in for 50 yards and the scoped inlines I sight in at 75. And I mean pound the bulls eye at that distance, not an inch over or under like my friends do. Then I start shooting them at other distances I might encounter and see where they hit. I shoot them from 15-125 yards. But I always know that at say.. 35 yards, I can aim dead on and let fly.
