2 shots was more than enough to know that the big 405 Powerbelt is dropping pretty good at that distance and the 80 grain charge i use.
If a couple of inches of drop is a concern, why only 80 grain charges?
More propellant, less drop..............
Recoil, It gets uncomfortable for me with those big bullets with 90+ grains. If i had open sights it would be a little better as i would not have to worry about the rifle getting away and the scope hitting me in the face
