Default RE: PA antler restriction

You'd be surprised at how little genetics has to do with antler development. Probably.
Actually genetics has a lot to do with antler development and that was proven by the Kerr study. One of the critical factors that effects PA the most is the rate of antler development. Studies have shown it takes the average 1.5 spike three years before it catches up with the average 1.5 6 or 8 pt.

That means the average 1.5 buck doesn't live long enough to match the potential of the 1.5 6 or 8 pt. that gets harvested as a 1.5 buck.
Ahhh, but you only tell the facts that seem to support your stance.
Tell us the distinction between a 1.5 spike and a 1.5 8-point.
How did they come to be what they are at 1.5?
Did you know that at maturity there is no difference between the two?
You don't purport that genetics is the reason do you?
It is very likely that the 1.5 spike can likely be a massive 12 point at maturity, and just as likely the 1.5 8-point will still be 8, only just as massive.
Why do you continue with the propaganda?
