pahunter60, we practice those shots in strip mines. This requires you to out a plywood insert in a tire and roll it from the top of a hogh wall in a strip mine. You cannot shoot up hill, you must have a backstop wall and you must be very careful shooting. But you will get excellent practice.
I try and get inearly and go beyonf the normal hunters in the woods. Somewhere I read that most hunters don't go beyond 4-500 yarsds. Let them push deer to you, on the opener, if you are in deep enough they are looking behind them not in front but you have ot want o get inearly and stay ;ate. Pays off. Bowhuintoing is certainly less stressful as well as ML after the holidays. Jeeze you will have to woods pretty much to yourself then. Hunt hard hunt safe!
