Holy crap you like to argue. I never said it couldn't be shot as a single shot. I was just stating not to count a single shot out because the advantage of having a repeater usually isn't as big of an advantage as most think it is. I don't have any trouble killing stuff with a muzzle loader, you either hit it or you don't. They normally don't hang around long enough for you to rack another round, aim and fire off a good shot. Especially if your small and it takes you longer to recover from the shot because of recoil.

And I don't recall telling him he had to get a single either, if he doesn't want one he doesn't have to get one. Won't hurt him to look at them though will it?

If that's not your opinion that's fine don't try to make me look like a dumb ass because mine is different. And I normally teach someone to shoot or hunt, not learn them.

I actually agree with you and you still find fault with what I say, go figure.
