RE: How far will you take a shot?
Yes, I know where the vital is, yet the first arrow was a bit low but doing too much damage; the next 4 shots were to make up for the first poor shot. Yes, I should have pulled the bird in closer, which was my mistake and I practiced a ton since that day. I took another shot at 7 yards earlier in the season and missed a huge gobbler. Shot right threw the blind so even the easy shots can present problems. I learn from every experience and this site. For the record, I never said that I would take a deer or any animal at 100 yards, but it is fun to practice. I am only looking for advice.
