RE: need help picking a bow
I have shot numerous bows. The determining factor is what feels right for you. I shoot the Switchback XT and plan on owning it until I can't hunt anymore. Its super smooth and quiet and Matthews' customer service is second to none. I shot a few Hoyts but they are heavy and not as smooth to me as a Matthews. The DXT is nowhere as smooth as the Switchback either. If I had to choose a runner up it would be a Bowtech. I went to Gander Mtn. a few years ago and picked up an Allegience for the first time and put 5 center mass. Real smooth and reliable for almost half the cost of a Matthews or Hoyt. Everything depends on what feels right to you.......
