RE: DOUBLE BULL 3D MATRIX BLINDS
Cornfed...
Hey, I know there are a LOT of people happy. If you read through my post you can see I used to be also - heck I sold 20 of the things trust me just talking about them ! I set up carefully, not too fast, I do it just as it is supposed to be done...just like the video. I am 44 years old, grew up in the outdoors (in Illinois) so it's "not my first rodeo" =) I just opened my blind thin morning, popped it open to 'air it out' and snap.... one of the ceiling rods was severed right at the ball joint - the same spot all the rods I have ever seen break. I have friends in Danville, Ill, Catlin Ill, Perrysville, IN that all have this blind, and ALL of them have same issues... it is not me my bow hunting friend. I called and spoke to them on MANY occasions , and very candid, over the issue I had with the first one I had bought, even then I got another, then another.... I bought the one I have now because DB had the 2nd one - fixing it and had it over a month after they promised to get it home to me ASAP.... heck I shipped it FEDEX ! But opening the blind this morning in my back yard was a true wakeup call... thats all.... I was in no hurry, just popped it open and the rod broke (or perhaps was already broken)
I would agree it was me had I not told THE SAME thing to a buddy that had his break.... I think it may be a rod tension issue ?? as they age they 'pop' open easier I noticed.... maybe the tension strings need to be a little 'looser' Im not sure.... I just know my experiance - If I was roughing trhe blind up - Id NEVER post THEY had problems... Id say I messed up 3 blinds.... I loved this blind till now !
