Default My alley problem...

Ok i had a thread about this and guys I appologize, I cant find it. But I still remember where everyone was getting at with it, and it was something in the twists of the cables.

Ok when i bought my bow, I also bought new strings/cables from gibblet. I took them to the shop and told them to set everything up and set it at 65lbs.

Well it turned out the cams have a little lean in them, and the cable did not wanna seat into the bottom cam track. so they twist and play twist and play and they finnally get it to seat properly.
(I use the term "seat" for lack of better)

Problem solved all is good, I shoot and shoot, living the good life, then I decided I wanna see what kind of speed I can get out of her with a 350grn at 70lbs.... So i take it down one day and tell them to bottom her out, they did, and it was still 65lbs,

most on my original thread said, the scale was probably wrong... but if Im pulling 70lbs, then Im ready for a 80lb bow.

The shop Checked ALL my specs EVERYTHING matched.

Then the HNI'rs went on to explain about twisting the cables to achieve the poundage back. Well I havent taken it back or any further than that i fear of messing my cam "sync" up.

Sheew... so what say ye again guys?
