Default RE: How far will you take a shot?

That's awesome that you do have the time to practice and get that good, wish I did. But I don't doubt that you're shootin like you say, I was just pokin a little fun of course. The farthest I've ever shot my bow is from 60 yards playing around with some buddies. We were shootin from 30 yards out for about 20 minutes, and two of us were shootin really good, my other buddy who likes to talk trash wasn't shootin so well. Me and the other guy felt so confident that we backed it up straight from 30 to 40 and shot one arrow a piece. We both hit it first shot of course dead on, and our other buddy shot low. We gave him hell and backed it up to 50 hittin it on the first try, dead center, he missed again. Then to 60, hit it first try again dead center, he lost an arrow that shot. He was so frustrated, it was pretty funny. I love shootin bows with buddies, but I just don't have the time to do it enough to get excellent. I assume you're a bonified competition shooter?
