Default RE: How far will you take a shot?

no i know what you said i think there are a few out there that if they shot a deer at 60 or even 100 would own up to it i would.
I would say hey guys i missed this deer or wounded it what did i do wrong.
I would expect you guys would say shoot closer.

i saw Ted shoot a buck that was looking right at him with no sight with a compounds at 100 yards. he killed it but i thought what the heck.
I even stopped watching him for a few months

ya i think your right and wrong.
i have hear alot of bad story's non out to 100 yards people know there going to get bashed on here for it.

Any bad shot i have i tell you guys so you can help me solve what ever problem .
Last year i shot over one when i was letting my bow down. then i shot under one. i did not hesitate to tell you guys i messs up but both shots were at 15 yards along way from 100 or even 60.
I am just glad i did not wound either.

It blows me away to see all the claims of killing animals at these long range yardages
No one is going to admit to wounding animals at long range yardages. It seems we always here the successful story's but never the bad story's.
Tim I said long range not short range. Your eyes bad??
