I had a pretty rough year this year. I saw does, but did not have a shot on a single buck. What was frustrating was that as I was leaving the woods at dark. I would hear bucks grunting, and I got one stirred up at me by grunting and stomping back. The thing was snorting and stomping no more than ten or twelve feet from me, but it was just inside the woodline. Very frustrating. I know that it was the dominate buck in the area, but he was nocturnal almost from opening day. Oh well maybe I can get him this year.
