I guess to simply this whole thread it would be that ALWAYS hunt the wind, if the wind is iffy or changes while in the stand stay out or get out and, for me, do everything you can to help you out if it can't hurt (Scent-Loc and spray).

I've hunted numerous times in a stand that the wind switched and either I called it a night and left or moved to another stand if there was time to move and wouldn't impact that stand on getting there late.

To consistently shoot big bucks youHAVE to use the wind in your favorbecause you will not beat his nose often enough to be successful.
