Default RE: Nikon ProStaff Scope

ORIGINAL: falcon

I am pretty sure the Pro Staff has a friction adjustment elevator??

Nikon ProStaff scopes have click adjustments.
I am not saying you are wrong, because I am not sure. I do know that just because a knob makes a clicking noise, that does not automatically mean the elevator is mechanical and not friction held(cross hairs).

I will do a little research and try to find out. It is sometimes difficult to get clear concise information from manufacturers. And since Nikon farms out a lot of the scopes they sell, it may be hard to find out.I am sure that different mfrs. may have made the scopes differently.

I have done box tests on several Nikon scopes-including the Monarch's. And I was not satisfied with the results. Tom.
