I'd bet not, actually.
One thing that's gonna happen while your Elk hunting as opposed to sitting in a ladder over your local deer patch is generally, you're going to be on the ground and walking, and walking, and scrambling up ridges and moving a lot in rough country...the last thing you'll want to do is keep remembering to check your broadhead...get a big fixed blade and forget about it...you'll have enough to worry about
