RE: How I hunt the wind
Goodpost Greg, hopefully someone on this form that has not been seasoned or trained well will realize the importance of stand placement compared to wind direction and put it to good use.
I myself cant understand why anyone would stay in a stand if the wind shifted on me when the option of moving to another one exists.
Also not a big fan of scent killers if they are not natural ones, why pay for them when most places I hunt have Dirt and water to scrub my hands and boots with. Never was keen on squirting myself with a man made product after taking a shower.
I do use a UV killer and Baking Soda rinse on my clothes.
