RE: Thermals ..... Do they play a part in your hunt???
Hunting here in the drainages in the Rockies I use the current on every hunt. I start high and work my way down in the early mornings. In going from an elevation of 4500 ft to 2225 on a hike I use the thermal current to my advantage. Sometimes winds can change every 5 minutes and cold weather can change an approach also. The wife will drop me off and I have an atv at the bottom or she'll me me there at dark-thirty.
