A lot of recoil is how you address the rifle. I've had the opportunity in my life to shoot some monster rifles. If you hold them wrong, they will let you know about it, and sometimes in a not to pleasant way.

Still a light rifle with a stout load will tend to kick more then a heavy one. Its a shame that we can not test fire rifles like we test drive cars. The idea of the limb saver is a great idea. I am one of these lucky onesthat is not recoil sensative.

The worst rifle I have is actually my Knight TK2000 shotgun. When you load 100 grains of powder and a full measure of turkey load, it will rock your world. When I was sighting in, I made sure I never shot it more then fifteen times in a row with the magnum loads.
