I use feeders as a tool. To add some food to poor conditions in my area. I do not hunt over them! I do not hunt over my food plot I understand why some of you do not want to hunt Baited areas. I could place a stand near the food plot or feeder and shoot deer, I choose not to do so.
I wouldn' t consider this baiting since you do not hunt over the food. There is a difference between feeding and baiting and I think that you would fall into the feeding side. Many states that do not allow baiting will allow the supplemental feeding of wildlife so long as you are hunting a certain distance away from the feed.
