Default A little scouting

Well I'm a little bummed because the club I hunt with lost some land recently and because of it's location we may end up not getting the piece beside it eitherthis year because it has very limited access roads. Probably about 7 or 800 acres total and all very nice. We are usually picking up new land every couple of seasons and we still have probably close to 4000 total acres, so I won't whine too much, I just really like that piece.

So today I had to ride out there and take down some stands whichsucked but it wasalsogood because it gave me an oppurtunity to scout on our other pieces and hang another trail cam. This cheered me up because the corn and soybeans look great and we have some fields that are just being planted with beans because the wheat was harvested late due to heavy rains. That should mean at least a couple of bean fields that don't get harvested until late this season.

Anyway here are a couple of pics:

Keep eating little fella.

What's your hurry??

This bean field is getting hammered by deer you would not believe the sign within the woods near this field, you literally can not walk without seeing deer droppings everywhere. I took a video of it but it's a little nauseating to watch and I haven't figured out how to postit just yet. On the other side of that wood line(approx 80 yards) there is another bean field, looks like an hour glass from above.

Corn looks great and I can not wait for season, this is the field I took both my bow bucks near last season. It looks promising for this season as well.

Same fieldd and I know that's a little deer but look at the corn in comparison.
