i had 25 hens in nc led eggs twice the size of store eggs shells where good and hard
had to sell them when i moved

There are only two of us so I voted 1-2 deer/year. We also eat a lot of chicken since we raise/butcher our own meat chickens. Plus with a core group of 50 laying hens of varying ages, we butcher the older ones every year to make room for younger hens. Add to that a couple of wild turkeys and some wild rabbit and dove thrown in for good measure that means just a little supplemental pork and beef from the store once or twice a month.
