Default RE: Wraps vs capping for vane repair?

I don't usually cap and crest my practice arrows so its not an issue when I have to replace a Blazer. I clean up the old glue and stick a new vane on. I shoot my hunting arrows with broadheads a couple of times each before they go to the woods. I don't shoot groups with the hunting arrows so I shouldn't have to worry about damage from themhitting each other. If the hunting arrows get damaged while passing through an animal,. I don't mind repainting. The weight difference between hunting arrows,( with cap and crest paint), and practice arrows is so minimal that POI isn't effected. Here they are again. These took about 2 hours to make. and it is enjoyable to do.
