As for #, I'd go w/the 70. I assume you can turn down the 70# bow? IF so U get the best of both worlds. Besides, u stated that u hunt out west @ longer ranges, there's your answer.
Yes, you can turn them down. However, a bow is most efficient on it's upper end. And a 60# bow can be maxed to get around 63, maybe 4.
Yeah, if those are actual speeds, it's a no brainer IMO. Get the 60.
