I posted this on predatormasters and am looking for all the info i can get. I am wondering about a good gun rest for shooting out to ranges of the 300 yard mark, both from a bench and from the hood of a pickup truck. I have a .223 and plan some varmint hunting (coyotes and crows) and some range time and had initially thought about a varminter rest, but am considering any and all good rests around $100 and less. The last thing I want to do is make a blind purchase and be disappointed so I need your recommendations.
