Treedog,I know it everyones preference, but I have both barrels in 45 and 50 cal.If I was going to get only one barrel I think i would go with the 50.I hope I can get the 45 to shoot as good as the 50 cal,so far it looks promising.I have been working on a 270 wsm and haven' t had much time to work on the 45 cal yet.
I shoot the same bullet in the 50 cal and 6 consecative 3-shot groups I got less than .3 in at 100 yds.There are some pics of these in one of my other posts.So if I can get the 45 to do this would be great.
Hope you get yours soon as you can,believe you will really like it,I have knights and rugers also but I love to shoot the encore because it feels so much better to me.
