Oh, it's not MY design concept, they're already out there. I'm referring to the triggers that you have to push forward to lock the jaws on the string rather than pull the trigger to open the jaws, and let go of the trigger to close them.

It just seems to me that the "push forward" designs "snap" back when you touch them off, as opposed to squeezing the jaws open in the other design.
OOOHHH...I avoided this thread earlier because I didnt understand you. Heck every release I have ever used works as you described...to be honest, I didn't even know they made em like the one you have.[X(]

Scott releases are top notch, if you shoot a dloop try out the silverhorn and see if you like it. I LOVE the openhook design....I could hook up to the loop blind folded, hanging upside down. I will probably never use a caliper style release again now.
