I actually took the hose to our local NAPA store that also does high compression fittings. I got a 3/8 inch fitting put on the "burner" end of the hose. However, there must have been some type of "pressurizer" device inside the timer/thermocouple because now the flame is yellow and won't turn blue no matter what and the pressure isn't as high. Any thoughts?

My current plan is to buy the $25 burner assembly next time I'm at Academy (If I can't figure out why this one has a yellow flame).
