Default What are the laws in your area about a bow in the truck?

I had a little run in with a Deputy sheriff today. It started over my inspection sticker and then he saw my bow in the back seat of the truck and wanted to see my arrows for what kind of point I had on them. I had just been out moving some cameras and looking at trails.. At my huntingland I have a little range set up for shooting and I had just finished shooting some mechanicle BH's to find out what shot best with my set-up. Yep there was a Grim Reapor one 2 of them and two had the NAP Scorpions. Never was I in the woods, camoed out, or stalking bluebirds.

The deputy accused me of poaching and then went on to say that I had a loaded weapon (because they were in the quiver!). Im in a rural area, but thats frickin rediculous if there were any merit to accuse me of this.

Anyone have arrows in there quivers, according to Barney Fife, its carrying a weapon.

Any stories?
