I'm Matt and I'm from just outside St. Louis. I grew up fishing since I can remember but just got into bowhunting when I was was 16. I'm 22 now and have killed 3 deer, missed a few and am pretty much obsessed with bowhunting most of the year.
I'm a much better fisherman than hunter and can catch fish almost any day of the year but deer are so much harder to master for me.
I graduate from college next December with a metallurgical engineering degree. Currently I'm working as an intern for U.S. Steel this summer and making excellent money while posting on huntingnet.
I have a girlfriend of almost 1 year but it seems like I've known her my whole life and plan to spend the rest of my life with her.
I'm not exactly ready to grow up but I'm ready to start my career and move on with the next chapter of my life. The only true constant I'm sure of right now is being on the river fishing is the spring and summer and sitting in a tree in the fall.
