Well I made my first flemish twist string on Saturday and that was the highlight of the weekend it turned out a lot better than I thought it would
Sunday I decided to make my first long bow.
I did learn a lot from the mess I made of it like dont use so much epoxy that stuff is a bear to get off even with a spindle sander it took an hour to get the excess glue off.[

Anyway the big problem was when I put pressure into the air hose the lams shifted and I did not see it untill the bow had been baked for 6 hours[:@]
I was so disgusted with myself I was going to chop the bow up and throw it in the trash.
Well I decided against that and just finish the bow just for the practice.
So this morning when I got home from work I marked out the limbs cut and sanded them filed some string grooves and strung it up.
This bow is not going to be one I will shoot too much the last thing I need is for it to blow up in my face

altho some
namely Greg would say it would be an improvement
The tiller came out a lot better than I thought it would it looks to me like it is pulling even and there is no limb twist when looking from the groove ends down to the riser.
I still have some work to do on the sight window and shelf and of course the grip. I might even put some tip overlays on it just for the practice.
It was sposed to be a 68" 50lb @28" but I had to cut it back to 66" and it feels like about 65lb, I almost blew a poofer valve pulling it back the first time
So what ya'll think of it so far.
