Good point OKbowhunter... I understand completley

When a crop is ready to be harvested, they cut it.Crops are a farmer's lifeblood and you can't expect them to put it off over some casualties.Thousands of deer and turkeys have been killed by bailers, combines, etc since farming became mechanized and it really hasn't done anything to the populations.Look at the major agriculture states and what their deer and turkey pop's. are.More deer are probably killed on the roadways than in the farmer's fields
X2.Farmers are not known to be the greatest conservationist.I guess thats why they let us hunt,to protect their crops.IMO

That is a great perspective recurver, Farmers want the deer GONE, why would they stop??

Thanks guys, I understand completley now. This isWhat makes this place so great.
