Honestly, I'm surprised by how many of you like to .338 Federal. I didn't think it would catch on. It truely is a unique caliber. I'd beinclined to go with the .338 Win Mag due to bullet selection and versatility. The .338 win mag shoots a 180gr bullet as fast as the .300 WSM with the same trajectory for those long shots and can also deliver a 250 grain bullet with 3800 ftlbs. I'm thinking it will kick like a 3.5 inch 12ga buckshot!
