I have a .270 Rem 700 Mountain rifle and love it, so if that's your choice I don't think you can go wrong.

You have to ask yourself if you want to part with a rifle you've had so many memories with?
Also, 1.5"-2.0" groups = A DEAD ANIMAL, no matter how you slice it!
