I shot a General back in December and loved it but decided to go with a DXT. Last week I decided to go back and buy the General just to have two kick butt bows.

I get it home and shoot it and it seemed to have alot more vibration and noise than I originally remembered. I took it back to the shop the next morning for them to look over and they couldn't find anything wrong with it just by looking. They said that I could bring it back in when they got another General in stock so I could compare the two, but that won't beuntil next week.

I was able to get most of the shock out of the bow by tinkering with different stablizers, but the noise is still there.

All the screws have been checked for tightness. I checked for vane interference and can't find any problems there. I took off the QAD dropaway b/c it was hitting the shelf, then I put ona fullcontainment rest I had laying aroundand it got better. I think the short stop is making the noise b/c it has alot of contact with the string at rest but I can't adjust it in anymore.

The noise is a weird "plink" sound, even my wife noticed it right off. I'd sure appreciate some help.
