That will make too stiff of a shaft even worse. You could just strip the fletching off an arrow and see where it hits at 20 yards compared to a fletched shaft. Do this with field points, not broadheads.

Also, give us a rundown on your setup. What bow, poundage, arrow length, arrow brand and series, point weight, etc?
