I don't think there is any trick or gift to trad shooting. Sure, you don't have to worry about your pins rattling loose or your cams being out of time, but you'll still have off days... and they're more frustrating when you know it's all you. [>:]

We have our newbie bowfishers try shooting without pins. Some think they'll never be able to hit such a small moving target through instinctive aiming but most all pick it up pretty quickly. ('cept for the aiming low thing, that's hard for a lot of people)
