I think part of if is a sales gimmick.. The WSM and RCM seem to be a new trend (which I like, the shorter Mag rounds) But there is some use to the rounds.. But My guess is partly "The next big thing" that "someone has to get" and it will take a few years and they will settle on a couple that reach popularity.. My guess is the 300 WSM will proably stick.
