If you want to experience pure archery shooting joy, pick up a trad bow and fling some arrows. I grew up and learned on trad gear. I still shoot my recurve when I just want to relax and experience basic and natural archery....the way it was meant to be. I'm even planning on taking it into the woods this fall for a few hunts, something I've been reluctant to do years past.
