Default RE: Any of you get po'd and almost quit Deer Hunting?

I almost quit my first year bowhunting. I had a nice doe broadside at 15 yards let my arrow fly and hit a branch. I watch my arrow veer off and hit her thigh. I felt like crap and I still do. I'm pretty sure she survived there wasn't much of a blood trail and my arrow didn't penetrate very far. I found it later on when I was blood trailing her. I'm just hoping she didn't get infection where I hit and died a slow death. It did teach me to make sure there are no limbs around. Looking back that limb may have been good though because I'm pretty sure that arrow would have hit her in the guts if it hadn't hit the limb. I just can't think a limb could change the direction of the arrow that much. I just hope I don't ever have to experience woundinga deeragain.
