RE: Any of you get po'd and almost quit Deer Hunting?
I have moments when I shake my head at myself for doing something I know I shouldnt have done. Like when you hear that crack of a branch breaking behind you real close and swinging around real quick to look more out of instinct than anything, and spooking a nice shooter, or a doe with a hammer in tow and getting busted, or something as stupid. But I try and learn from all the bad stuff. Like when I make a questionable shot, in my early years the anticipation of getting down and start looking for blood, then bumping a deer never to be seen again. Now I just pack up and get out and evalaute the shot and make plans to recover the next day. My dirty laundry list is a long one but Ive learned allot over the years.
