I'm not saying that you did hunt the feeders, but remember, "It's not what you know, it's what you can prove"

In this case it's what you can't disprove. Unless you have people that can vouch you've never hunted by the feeder, you may have problems unfortunately. While I seriously hope it never comes do this for you, I'd start getting prepared for it.

That's absolutely ridiculous. You don't have to prove that you DIDN'T hunt over bait, they have to prove that you DID. What happened to guilty beyond a reasonable doubt???????
Ridiculous yes, but unfortunately its often the way it really works. If you had payed attention to the locals' posts about the DNR - police officer relationship, you probably wouldn't question my comment. If one group looks out for the other, and isn't willing to help - he may have to be able to prove he didn't that spot. A feeder in place, during season, with a game camera in location (remember they have his card - probably with pictures of game at the feeder as well) --- All of this is probably more than enough to "prove" he had hunted it in many peoples' eyes. I don't like it any better than you, but if he can't show any evidence that he didn't hunt that spot, there is a chance that things may not go his way.
