My dad got me into gun hunting at a very early age. I started around 2nd grade by going with him bird hunting and I'd carry birds for him. I worked my way up to a youth model shotgun by 5th grade and then a rifle by 7th grade.

As for bowhunting it was my hunting partner when I lived in Wisconsin. He was both a gun and bow hunter and helped my pick out my setup, went out shooting a lot, and then we hit the woods running. Shot my first deer on his stand on his Uncles property.
