Whitetails at 600 yards???? I can't answer that because there is no where short of interstate 64 or the Atlantic Ocean around my part of the world you can even SEE 600 yards. I suppose I'd go with the 300 WM, take that for what it is.
Elk moose and mulies out to 400.... either the 300WM or 7RM. I like the 300 WSM right much myself, but I don't stretch her legs at all. I don't shoot past 250-300.... just never needed to or had the ability to. So it rolls in the east.
